Imprinting characteristics of droplet lenses on liquid-repelling surfaces into light

چکیده

We propose an experimental method that allows the investigation of droplets on liquid-repelling surfaces. The described technique goes beyond standard imaging approaches and reveals a plethora spatial droplet information, which is usually unavailable. Liquid lenses shape transmitted light field Gaussian laser beam passing though them, thereby forming refracted three-dimensional (3D) landscapes. investigate numerically experimentally these 3D landscapes are customized depending as well its refractive index, demonstrate encoding information. This approach can also be applied for analyzing showing high-speed dynamics, in order to reveal even minimal deviations. developed complements therefor extend existing conventional tools formed
